Welcome to Genevieve's Cafe, a charming local hotspot nestled in the vibrant Pineham Village on Dragonfly Way, Upton, Northampton. This delightful café is not just a place to grab a bite—it's a community hub where friends gather, families unwind, and delicious food can be enjoyed in a welcoming atmosphere.

Stepping into Genevieve's, you'll notice the inviting aroma of freshly brewed coffee mingling with the delightful scent of home-cooked meals. The café offers a variety of lunch and snack options that cater to every palate. Renowned for its “cookie pies,” a unique and indulgent treat that has captured the hearts of locals, this spot is perfect for satisfying your sweet tooth. Pair your cookie pie with a robust coffee, and you have a match made in heaven.

The ambiance is where Genevieve's really shines—though some reviewers have noted it can be bustling, especially with the kids’ soft play area, that liveliness contributes to its welcoming character. You'll find that the cafe exudes a modern, slightly minimalist charm, which some, like Susan McHale, feel may lean towards an influencer aesthetic rather than the coziness others might prefer. Regardless, the café successfully provides a bright space where enjoyment and delightful conversation can flourish.

Customers have praised not only the delectable food but also the warmth of the service. Amy Milligan described her visit as a “first” full of smiles, with the dog-friendly policy allowing furry friends to accompany their owners as they relax with a hot coffee. It's a smart touch, providing parents with peace of mind while enjoying time out with their little ones, thanks to the soft play area designed to keep kids entertained while parents savor their meals.

You wouldn’t want to miss Lydia Rodger's experience with the hash brown stack—a dish that promises mouthwatering flavors and an unforgettable presentation. Many have shared their delight in discovering such unique offerings, making it a perfect stop for anyone looking to break away from the typical service station fare.

While it may not be suitable for everyone—some have expressed concerns about the proximity of small children and dogs in the cozy space—Genevieve's cafe remains a vital part of the local dining scene. Whether you're popping in for a quick coffee or settling down for a meal with friends, this café offers a delightful escape with quality food and a vibrant atmosphere.

So next time you find yourself in the neighborhood, or perhaps on your way to the M1, make sure to stop by Genevieve's Cafe. You’ll find not just great food, but a slice of local warmth that invites you to stay a little longer.

Friendly local cafe with some great food. Can be a little noisy with the kids play area, but the next-level “cookie pies” (I didn’t know they were a thing before) are amazing.

This is a cafe on a new estate on the edge of Northampton. Having heard it had a soft play area I took my 2 year old granddaughter there. The food was very good but rather dear. The play area was very small. But the reason I won't go again was simply that it's a small area with a lot of small children but they actively encourage people with dogs to bring them in. I don't believe this is healthy or a good idea. If one of those dogs bites a child in the cafe, I'd think they would be finished.

Love the food, customer service is always good. I personally don't love the atmosphere as it's quite cold and maybe more aimed at an influencer aesthetic rather than a cosier atmosphere but that is down to personal preference. Would definitely recommend to others to support a local business for a catch up with friends.

We stopped here for an alternative to a service station before joining the M1. The food was delicious and well-presented, and we didn't wait too long despite the cafe being almost full. I had the hash brown stack which I haven't seen anywhere else and which I'll definitely be trying to recreate at home as it was so good. My daughter demolished her sausage and chips and declared the chips 'best ever'! We also enjoyed a Bueno cookie pie from the selection of bakes on offer. The main downside of the cafe was the noise - obviously noise is to be expected at a family-friendly cafe on a Saturday in the school holidays and it was nice that the children enjoyed the mini soft play area, but because there are very few soft furnishings there's nothing to dampen the volume. The lighting could also be improved - it felt a bit dim and cold inside which would be improved with cosier lighting. Overall, Genevieve's Cafe was a great find and we would stop by again if travelling in the area.

Absolutely loved our first visit there today, service with a smile, dog friendly, food was incredible and the little soft play at the back is genius for parents who want to enjoy a coffee that's actually still hot, can't wait to come back, think it could be my new fave place! thank you! :)
